Connie Storom is a seasoned banking executive with 19 years of diverse experience in the financial services industry. Specializing in areas such as banking, payments (including issuing, acquiring, wallets, channels, and mobile banking), strategy, business development, portfolio profitability, and risk management/lending, she has a proven track record of success.

Connie's career highlights include her pivotal role in establishing the First National Bank of Botswana's initial issuing and acquiring card business in 1994. For nearly two decades, she effectively managed the bank's eSolution portfolio. Notably, Connie served as the lead consultant for Botswana Life Insurance Company's co-branded prepaid Visa card strategy and implementation in 2014 and led the strategy and implementation for Botswana Savings Bank's first Visa debit card in 2016.

In addition to her banking experience, Connie served as the Chief Executive Officer of Cloudseed Botswana, a telecommunications company headquartered in South Africa, for three years.

Connie's qualifications include leadership and change credentials from Leeds Met University, executive training in leadership from the University of Derby, and completion of senior management development programs at the Gordon Institute of Business Leadership & Science (GIBS) and the Professional Management Development Programme (PMP) at the Unisa Graduate School of Business Leadership in South Africa.

Recognized as both an entrepreneur and a business executive, Connie brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to her role.

Kate Senye is a versatile professional with a rich background spanning media development, venture capital, and economics. As the former CEO of the Southern Africa Media Development Fund (Samdef), she led initiatives funding and establishing numerous media outlets across Botswana, showcasing her expertise in media development in Africa. Prior to her venture capital role, Kate spent seven years as an Economist at the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning, where she honed her analytical skills and understanding of economic dynamics. She has also held significant positions as a board member of Standard Chartered Bank and as Chair of the Board Risk Committee. Additionally, Kate co-founded Botho University in Botswana and Lesotho, where she continues to shape educational landscapes as a Non-Executive Director and Advisory Council Member. With a Master's in Public Policy focusing on Development Economics and Business from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, USA, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Accounting from the University of Botswana, Kate Senye is recognized as a versatile leader driving impactful change across multiple sectors.

Pius Storom is a seasoned entrepreneur and industry expert with over two decades of diverse experience across various sectors, including mining, telecommunications, airlines, manufacturing, trading, and water treatment. With a background in mining and aircraft engineering, Pius possesses a unique combination of technical expertise and strategic vision. Throughout his career, he has managed engineering, telecommunications, and labor brokering businesses, refining his organizational and project management skills. Armed with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of South Africa and boasting 30 years of engineering experience, Pius serves as a valued advisor at JRK Training & Consulting, specializing in mining, power, and water engineering training. His critical thinking and systems approach drive innovation and excellence in his endeavors.

Warona George is a passionate advocate for vulnerable populations, particularly women and youth, focusing on health and socio-economic empowerment. With a strong commitment to inclusivity and sustainability, she has accumulated extensive experience in impactful roles. As a consultant for Sentebale and Senior Project Manager for PEPFAR USAID's DREAMS initiative at Stepping Stones International, Warona has showcased her dedication to advancing health and empowerment agendas. She has represented Botswana on global platforms, engaging policymakers and contributing to discussions on HIV/AIDS, adolescent health, and women's empowerment. With a background in research program coordination, Warona has led initiatives addressing sexual harassment in the workplace and empowering ex-prisoners. With over five years of experience in project management for socioeconomic empowerment programs for adolescent girls and young women, Warona George holds a Master of Science in Criminal Justice Policy from The London School of Economics & Political Science and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology & Language Sciences from University College London. She continues to be a driving force for positive change in her community and beyond.
